About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Consultant to join our team at IDEX CONSULTING LTD. As a key member of our actuarial consulting team, you will play a lead role in delivering exceptional consultancy services to our clients, focusing on their pension schemes.

With a strong background in actuarial consulting, you will have experience working in the UK Defined Benefit/Final Salary Pension space. Your expertise will enable you to take on a range of actuarial consultancy activities, including supervising phases of actuarial valuations and special projects, preparing materials for client meetings, and managing the implementation of new services.

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for coordinating and reviewing project assignments, ensuring timely and accurate work. You will also be involved in the development and presentation of proposals for consulting services, seeking to grow client relationships, and continuously improving the efficiency of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery/Subject Matter Expertise: supervising phases of actuarial valuations and special projects
  • Prepare materials for and attend client meetings; presenting to clients and prospects
  • Managing implementation of new services
  • Coordinating and reviewing project assignments to ensure timely and accurate work
  • Assisting in the development and presentation of proposals for consulting services
  • Seeks to grow client relationships and proactively and continuously improve the efficiency of our services
  • Consults with other lines of businesses regarding projects and/or expanded client relations
  • Responsible for organising, delegating and supervising the work of junior level staff
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of types of benefits products available in the marketplace
  • Pursuing actuarial credentials through continual professional development.
