About the Role:

As a Transformation Communications Expert at DS Smith, you will be responsible for driving the transformation of customer experience through effective change communication. With a focus on internal stakeholder engagement, you will work closely with various teams to create an aligned engagement and communication strategy, plan, and deployment.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Developing and implementing internal (change) communications strategies and plans for different stakeholder groups in close alignment with the CX Change Manager and the wider business internal communication agenda;
  • Managing channel strategies in support of your communication strategy and plan, leveraging existing channels and exploring other creative opportunities that align to the ambitious CX Vision;
  • Collaborating with suppliers to deliver on your strategy, as well as being hands-on in collateral development and deployment;
  • Planning, editing, writing content, and managing channels for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, Teams channels, Viva Engage, Monthly Newsletter, and regular email bulletin;
  • Working closely with regional team members around deployment and project updates or messages ready to be communicated.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience and knowledge of change communication principles, change, and project management methodologies;
  • Ability to develop and deliver communications strategies and plans for large transformational projects, across multiple channels and audiences;
  • Compelling storyteller with excellent communication skills to adapt to all levels of the organisation; li>
  • Demonstrable evidence of positively influencing employee engagement at all levels of the business;
  • Experience in managing communication agencies;
  • Fluent in English and ideally at least one other European language;
  • Flexibility to travel, be on site where the action needs to happen.
