About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Climate17, a purpose-led international renewable energy and sustainability recruitment consulting firm. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering tasks for large-scale renewable energy projects from initiation to post-construction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide project support in development, design, and cost estimation.
  2. Analyze technical data and validate Solar PV layouts and electrical diagrams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  3. Develop and maintain detailed engineering plans for construction projects, working closely with EPC companies.
  4. Support procurement with technical documents for RFPs and ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
  1. BA/BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in Solar PV or Energy Storage commercial development, including project development, design, and engineering, and construction of energy generation projects.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and PV SYST.
  4. Strong understanding of NEC and codes pertaining to commercial Solar PV.
  5. Solid understanding of renewable energy markets and project lifecycle.
