About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Adult Psychiatry Middle Grade Doctor to join our team at Stratheden Hospital, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out comprehensive new referral assessments to ensure timely and effective interventions.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy and treatment plans, tailoring them to meet individual patient needs.
  • Collaborate with psychology colleagues to provide holistic support and develop strategic management plans for patients.
  • Follow up on medication reviews, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including keeping accurate records and writing prescriptions.
  • Contribute to teaching and training junior doctors, medical students, and other team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in adult psychiatry and hold an MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent qualification.
