About the Role

We are seeking a skilled R&D Engineer II to contribute to the development of web software products and solutions at Ansys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a team of expert professionals to understand customer requirements and accomplish development objectives primarily in a TypeScript codebase.
  • Perform moderately complex development activities, including the design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation of software modules and sub-systems.
  • Perform moderately complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products.
  • Understand the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.
  • Work under the general supervision of a development manager.
Requirements
  • BS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or other natural science disciplines with 2 years' experience or MS.
  • Working experience with in technical software development proven by academic, research, or industry projects.
  • Good understanding and skills in object-oriented programming.
  • Good technical knowledge and commercial experience with TypeScript, Angular, web development, scripting languages, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience working/maintaining a mature Angular application/project/package code base.
  • Experience with React, Vue, or similar other front-end technologies.
