Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Trade Operative - Component Specialist to join our team at Prima Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for completing a range of repairs, maintenance, and improvement works in occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform a range of repairs, maintenance, and improvement works as required, with a focus on kitchen and bathroom replacements in occupied and void properties.
  • Responsive Repair and Void Works: Carry out responsive repair and void works as required, ensuring timely completion of jobs.
  • Property Location and Navigation: Locate properties in various surrounding areas and effectively use a map and take directions to ensure efficient job completion.
  • Job Organization and Prioritization: Organize daily jobs effectively and independently, taking into consideration job priority and appointments made.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Assist colleagues in ensuring timely completion of jobs and communicate effectively with internal office staff, colleagues, managers, and customers.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document all orders and job sheets efficiently and produce accurate reports regarding works undertaken and properties visited.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: NVQ level 2 qualification in core trade (or equivalent), with NVQ level 3 desirable.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong commitment to customer service excellence, takes pride in quality of work, demonstrates drive and resilience, self-starting and self-motivated, quality and efficiency focused.
  • Trade Skills: Competent in at least 3 of the following trades, two must be Joinery/Plumbing with the third from Plastering or Tiling.
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving: High degree of initiative to complete jobs by target date, ability to query jobs and liaise with office staff and managers.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent standards of communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to work as part of a team, both generally and with another multi-trade operative.
