We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Staffline Branches. Located in Wolverhampton, this permanent position offers a competitive salary of £37,500 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

About the Role:

  • Investigate and implement effective solutions to maintain production efficiency, improve productivity, and ensure electrical and mechanical equipment is functioning optimally.
  • Expertly manage system maintenance, breakdown support, installation, safety, and risk assessment to guarantee continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with the Maintenance Manager to coordinate timely maintenance schedules and drive a culture of excellence.
  • Conduct planned machine and equipment maintenance to optimize site efficiency and contribute to a skilled cross-functional maintenance team.
  • Quickly diagnose faults and take corrective action to minimize downtime.
  • Accurately record and maintain relevant documentation as required.
  • Provide project support for new machinery sourcing and implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, standards of operation, safe operating procedures, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Maintain consistent and timely attendance at work, both individually and as part of the team.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Possess current experience or qualification in an engineering discipline.
  • Hold experience in the overhaul, repair, and modification of various manufacturing, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment, and conveyor systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in computer literacy, specifically with PLC controlled equipment.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach and right-first-time attitude.
  • Have excellent spoken and written English language skills.
  • Be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Display flexibility, adaptability, a willingness to learn, and support others' learning.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • 18th edition certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience within the food industry would be advantageous.
  • Accreditation in Food Hygiene equivalent to at least level 2 is preferred.
