Job Summary:

VIQU Limited is seeking a highly skilled Deskside Support Engineer to join our team on an initial 12-month contract. As a Deskside Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing real-time IT support to end-users across the company, working onsite to resolve technical issues and manage tickets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and network system issues
  • Manage and escalate tickets, communicating technical solutions in both technical and non-technical terms
  • Liaise with multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems, and requests
  • Work across a broad range of technologies, identifying and resolving technical problems
  • Comfortable providing remote support when needed, with exposure to ticket management and response
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a Deskside support role, with excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Able to identify, log, and resolve technical problems with software, hardware, and network systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
