Mechanical Services Technician

We seek a skilled Mechanical Services Technician to work on fire and smoke damper systems across the UK.
About EDSB Ltd:A prominent provider of Fire & Security, Electrical, Mechanical, and Building Services, we focus on delivering high-quality services and maintaining compliance nationwide.
Key Tasks:- Conduct detailed testing, maintenance, and installation of fire and smoke dampers at multiple sites.
- Safely handle equipment and tools, including heavy machinery setup.
- Perform physical tasks related to fire and smoke damper systems.
- Maintain a safe working environment, following established guidelines.
- Clear site debris and waste.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services, including ventilation systems.
- Background in passive fire and fire stopping industries (desirable).
- Validated fire damper inspection certification.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Proficient in computer software.
- UK driving license.
Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. Candidates will undergo BS7858 Employment Screening and Enhanced DBS checks.
Annual Salary:£45,000 - £55,000, based on experience.
