We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bar Assistant to join our team at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester. As a Bar Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service to our guests, ensuring that drinks arrive smoothly and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and tidy bar area.

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education (GCSE or equivalent), excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, and a willingness to obtain a First Aid qualification if not already certified. Flexibility with working hours is essential, as is the ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 25kg.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £21,253 - £23,144 per annum, a 35-hour working week, 30 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time roles), a generous pension scheme, free guaranteed parking on campus, and a free shuttle bus to Cirencester town centre.

We operate our bars all year round, serving a variety of clients, ranging from our student population to conference and event guests. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a strong commitment to providing outstanding service.
