About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Lead to join our team at Egis Group. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the reinforcement detailing contract for nuclear civil works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Execution: Manage the entire reinforcement detailing contract lifecycle, ensuring milestones are met in line with project timelines and budgets.
  • Design and Production Coordination: Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and subcontractors to streamline production across multiple sites, including international collaboration.
  • Reinforcement Detailing Processes Oversight: Manage technical detailing processes, ensuring compliance with relevant nuclear standards and integrating innovative, efficient practices.
  • Quality and Compliance Assurance: Ensure all deliverables adhere to industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements, focusing on the precision of reinforcement detailing.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate regular project meetings, update project plans, and maintain open communication with the Senior Project Manager, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks specific to reinforcement detailing, implementing corrective measures proactively.
  • Resource and Team Management: Develop, support, and manage team performance, ensuring resource allocation aligns with project demands.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare status reports, document project changes, and track project progress for senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management Experience: Proven experience in civil works detailing within construction or engineering, preferably for nuclear or energy projects.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of reinforcement detailing principles, industry standards, and nuclear regulatory frameworks.
  • Leveraging Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and experience coordinating multi-site production, including international teams.
  • Nuclear Safety and Compliance Standards Familiarity: Familiarity with nuclear safety and compliance standards.
  • Certification (Optional): Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is advantageous.
