The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Gas Engineer to join our team at Fortem Cares. As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned central heating installations, gas maintenance servicing, and fault diagnosis. You will work independently, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs while remaining within budget and time parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned central heating installations and gas maintenance servicing
  • Diagnose faults and communicate additional works required to the Supervisor/Line Manager
  • Work independently, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs
  • Operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements

Requirements

  • GAS Safe Registration CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, MET1, WAT1, CKR1, CPA1 current gas accreditations
  • Full UK Driving License
  • CSCS HAPS Test Certificate + CSCS Skills card (desirable)
  • C&G Craft/Advanced Craft Certificate in Heating Engineering and/or plumbing or NVQ 2/3 certificate (desirable)
