About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor to join our team.

As an Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapy team to provide patient-centered programs of therapeutic activities.

You will use your technical and creative skills to enable individuals to achieve their goals, while working under the guidance of a registered Occupational Therapist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver therapeutic activities programs for individuals with mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the Occupational Therapy team to achieve patient-centered goals.
  • Use your technical and creative skills to adapt activities to meet individual needs.
  • Provide support and guidance to individuals to enable them to achieve their goals.
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and services.

Requirements

  • Understanding of the role of Occupational Therapy.
  • Good team working skills and sound communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and build rapport with individuals.
  • Organisational skills and ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to lead therapeutic activity groups under supervision.
