About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Experience Specialist to join our Conference and Banqueting team at Breadsall Priory Marriott Hotel. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop your career while providing a professional and energetic service to our members and hotel guests.

Job Description

The Event Experience Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that every event, from corporate conferences to weddings and banquets, runs smoothly and exceeds our guests' expectations. This includes preparing coffee breaks, setting up tables and stations, communicating with the kitchen, managing tableware, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitization standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate supplies
  • Organize tables, action stations, buffets, and carts for service
  • Communicate any additional meal requirements or special requests to the kitchen
  • Ensure courses are properly cleared and crumbed in a timely fashion
  • Manage the presentation of tableware so that it is accessible for the guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitization of tables, stations, and service areas

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need great conversational skills, a positive outlook, and an outgoing personality. Previous banquet serving experience is a plus, and you must be able to move and lift up to 25 pounds. Prior to employment, you will complete safety training and certification.
