Class 2 Day Driver Position

Job Title: Class 2 Day Driver
Location: South Molton
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 2 Day Driver, you will be responsible for making multi-drop palletised deliveries and collections to and from businesses and private addresses across North Devon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of vehicle, ensuring load security
- Planning route on a day-to-day basis
- Completing daily vehicle checks on your company phone
- Working closely with the network hubs
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers' expectations
- Attending regular training sessions
Requirements:
- Must have a UK Class 2 (C) Driving Licence
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Working to deadlines
- Confident, polite, and a team player
- Good geographical knowledge
- Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated
