We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician (Wet Trades) to join our team at Havebury Housing Partnership. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of tasks including bricklaying, roofing, groundworks, and plastering on domestic properties located throughout East Anglia.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake Bricklaying, Roofing, Groundworks, and Plastering Works: Complete tasks to a high standard, adhering to relevant C&G qualifications, British Standards, and industry best practices.
- Diagnose Faults and Rectify Effectively: Identify and repair issues on first visit wherever possible.
- Conduct Mould Wash and Diagnose Mould Reason: Identify and address mould issues before carrying out remedial works.
- Provide Clear Information: Communicate clearly about additional works required, duration, and materials needed.
- Basic Works of Other Trades: Undertake basic tasks of other trades relative to work undertaken or as directed by line manager.
- Full Driving Licence: Possess a valid full driving licence.
- Ability to Work on Own Initiative: Demonstrate the ability to work independently.
- Good Customer Care Skills: Provide excellent customer service.
- Competent User of I.T.: Possess good IT skills.
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification: Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade.
- Social Housing Experience: Have experience working in social housing.
- Annual Salary: £35,280 per annum.
- Company Van and Fuel Card: Receive a company van and fuel card.
- Annual Leave: Enjoy 28 days annual leave per year, increasing to 32 days after 3 years of service.
- Pension: Contribute to a pension scheme with a company contribution of between 7% and 12%.
- Life Assurance: Receive a payment of 3 times annual salary in the event of death.
