We are seeking an Aquaculture Infrastructure Technician to join our team at Huon Aquaculture.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment, with a focus on maintenance and repair of our surface and sub-surface infrastructure.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of Huon's surface and sub-surface infrastructure.
  • They will work closely with the Subsea management team to identify and address any issues that may arise.
  • The role involves working in a dynamic environment, with a focus on safety and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake repairs to nets, equipment, and other general maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct subsea infrastructure inspections as required.
  • Perform rigging and retrieve mortalities.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in aquaculture (Diving)
  • ADAS Part 2 Restricted Dive ticket (or equivalent)
  • A current Dive medical or ability to obtain
  • A current and valid Driver's licence
