A leading Public Sector client in the East Midlands is seeking a skilled Legionella Supervisor to oversee their building and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a Local Authority and possess a strong understanding of water hygiene and legionella management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all works meet quality standards, including compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, particularly in relation to water hygiene and legionella.
  • Provide technical specialist advice to the Corporate Landlord on asset management, ensuring compliance with ISO 55000 International Standards.
  • Oversee mechanical engineering services and construction project delivery, preparing reports, estimates, specifications, drawings, and works schedules for quotations or tendering.
  • Lead the programme planning, resource planning, budget planning, quality of service, and value for money of section projects.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role with extensive knowledge of water hygiene and legionella management.
  • Proven budget management skills, with regular financial reporting.
  • Design and implementation of minor and major works, including new build, routine repairs, conversions, preventative maintenance, adaptations, refurbishment, improvements, alterations, demolition, and redecoration.
  • Compliance with European procurement legislation, contract conformity, and management of performance criteria for a range of contracts.

Remuneration

The client is offering a competitive hourly rate of £30 (approximately £24 PAYE) for this role.
