**Supporting Children and Young People in Care**

We are seeking dedicated volunteers to join our Independent Visiting Service, supporting children and young people in care within the Cannock area.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Becoming an Independent Visitor and forming a positive relationship with a child or young person who shares your interests.
  • Deciding together on activities to do, such as going to the cinema, playing sports, or exploring local parks.

No prior experience working with children is required, just a genuine interest in their development and well-being. We provide full training and ongoing support.

**About the Role:**

This volunteer opportunity typically takes place on weekends and after school hours, when the young people are not in school. A DBS check will be necessary for this role.

**Estimated Salary:** £8.91 per hour, based on national minimum wage rates for volunteers.
