Head Pizza Chef

Yard Sale Pizza is seeking an experienced and skilled Head Pizza Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a collaborative team leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, maintaining high-quality pizza production, and fostering a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of chefs in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality pizzas, maintaining our reputation for excellence.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen operations manager and general manager to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or equivalent role in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Excellent pizza-making skills, with a focus on Neapolitan-style pizza.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining 5-star standards.
