The Role

This exciting opportunity is part of our Graduate Programme, where you'll join our Major Projects team as a Grid Infrastructure Specialist. Your primary focus will be on operating and maintaining the 132kV electricity network, including overhead lines, underground cables, and substations.

You'll be based at one of our Project Teams offices but spend a significant proportion of your time on-site, covering the dedicated distribution licence area. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent time management, and the ability to liaise with a diverse range of colleagues and contractors.

  • Project Related Network Risk
  • Procurement and Contractor Management
  • Senior Authorised Person (SAP) duties
What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a minimum 2:2 degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. A full valid UK driving license is also essential due to the amount of travel required.

All graduates complete the core development programme, focusing on key skills like making an impact, giving feedback, and presentation skills. As part of this role, you'll develop further technical skills aligned with your position, plus essential learning modules such as working safely.

Salary and Benefits

You can expect a competitive salary of £34,895 per annum, with opportunities for career progression and professional growth. Additional benefits include:
