Market leader within the Non Mechanical Access Equipment industry requires a field-based sales professional to sell to small and large contractors covering a designated territory. Our client has an excellent reputation in the industry, and we are seeking a sales professional with experience in selling to small and large contractors, mainly scaffolding businesses.
The Role:
- As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for sales and hire of the company's range of non mechanical access equipment, including scaffolding equipment, fencing & hoarding, safety equipment, and edge protection.
- New business-focused with some account management responsibilities, with circa 20 regularly spending accounts on patch.
- Selling to main and sub-contractors, the target market is vast, but the majority of your business will come via scaffolding contractors, both small and large.
- Your role is field-based with regular visits to your allocated depot/branch, which is located in Berkshire, covering a territory that includes Berkshire, Surrey, West London, Hampshire, and parts of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
- Great leads are provided, and excellent support and backup are available.
- Long-term career and opportunity available.
The Person:
- Must have field sales experience within the construction industry.
- Previous experience of selling into main/sub-contractors (ideally sold to the scaffolding industry).
- Happy being new business-focused.
- Self-sufficient.

- Up to £35-£45k basic salary dependent on experience.
