Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Commercial Litigation Solicitor to conduct their own case load of litigation matters and supervise a litigation solicitor and support staff to achieve agreed fee earning performance targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial disputes, including contract, director/shareholder disputes, warranty claims, insolvency work, debt recovery, fraud, and professional negligence.

The successful Solicitor will be skilled at dealing with clients, professionals, and other third parties to provide an excellent level of service. They will also have a willingness to participate in business generation and development. Excellent organisational, written, and IT skills are essential, with proficiency in MS Office and experience using a case management system being ideal.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of PQE in commercial litigation
  • Experience of medium to high value and complex commercial disputes
  • Strong background in contentious property work, including possession proceedings, rights of way, and boundary/land disputes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
