Job Title: Chief Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at Raytheon UK. As a key member of our APNT business, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our products and ensuring their quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Governance: Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
  • Product Development: Lead the development of new products and technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the APNT market, applying your knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of engineers, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure their success.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical background in the design, qualification, and certification of mission-critical equipment.
  • Significant breadth and depth of technical leadership experience, including systems, electronics, software, mechanical, reliability, and manufacturing engineering.
  • Knowledge of the APNT market, including customers, equipment suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of delivering through others in a matrix organization.
