Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our Private Client team at Pro-Tax. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the overall smooth running of the department, supervising and training junior team members, planning compliance work, and controlling work schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train junior team members to ensure the smooth operation of the department
  • Plan and manage compliance work, including Capital Gains, Trust, and Inheritance Tax
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to ensure the best advice is provided to clients
  • Manage and control deliverables and deadlines, handling day-to-day queries and addressing complex tax and tax planning issues
  • Develop and maintain client and intermediary relationships

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Tax Manager in a Private Client team
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including Capital Gains, Trust, and Inheritance Tax
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
