Trust Administrator Job Description

QED Legal is seeking a skilled Trust Administrator to join their tax and trusts team in Guildford.

This role involves undertaking fee-earning work, handling trusts and tax advice for private clients, and building a caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual Trust Accounts
  • Register Trusts on HMRC Trust Register
  • Complete annual Trust and Estate Tax Returns
  • Complete Capital Gain Tax Property (60 Day) Reports
  • Provide advice on Trustees Duties and Obligations, Types of Trusts, Trust Assets, Inheritance Tax, and Income Tax

Requirements:

  • Fee Earning Paralegal, Qualified Solicitor, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage own caseload
