About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team at Everest Advisors (UK), Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the expansion of our International Healthcare Practice, focusing on General Liability, Medical Malpractice, and Employers Liability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of renewal business, including underwriting, pricing, and client relationships.
  • Participate in creating and executing the Industry Practice plan to meet Business Plan objectives.
  • Collaborate with other underwriters, the actuarial team, and the claims team to develop effective pricing models and handle claims-related issues.
  • Represent Everest at meetings, including visits to brokers and clients, fostering strong relationships.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing and management information (MI) for individual accounts.

Requirements:

  • Underwriting experience with technical knowledge in International Healthcare.
  • Understanding of wholesale and retail business.
  • ACII qualification or significant progress towards it.
  • Strong strategic skills to analyse opportunities and threats.
  • Effective judgment and decision-making skills.
