Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented MRI radiographer to join our imaging team at the Oxford Centre for Clinical Magnetic Resonance Research (OCMR). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a safe, efficient, and effective MR scanning service for cardiovascular, liver, and neuro-imaging research protocols.

Main Duties
  • Work effectively as part of the MRI team to provide a comprehensive and diagnostic imaging service.
  • Independently assess each patient and adapt techniques according to their needs.
  • Contribute to the working environment to ensure patients receive optimum care.
  • Be responsible for the use of expensive diagnostic imaging equipment to ensure patient safety.
Working for Our Organisation

The cardiology department at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford is a major provider of cardiac care in South East England. We are a busy and friendly department seeking a senior radiographer to support our clinical cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) service.

As a member of our team, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team in a world-renowned CMR centre. You will have the opportunity to support one of our many imaging research projects and further study may also be possible.

Informal visits to the unit are strongly encouraged.
