About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Children Supervisor at Claire's. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for:

  • Driving Sales: Support your Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales and providing excellent customer service.
  • Store Operations: In the absence of any other management, you may be required to open and close the store, ensuring that it trades safely and legally.
  • Customer Service: Deliver sales through friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring our customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate Claire's products and assist customers with their queries using your product knowledge.
  • Store Maintenance: Assist with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions, ensuring the store looks presentable and inviting to our customers.
  • Ear Piercing: You will receive full training to perform ear piercing services.

Qualifications

  • Education: Some high school education is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of retail experience is required.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and basic computer skills are essential. You must understand the importance of customer service and have a sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand during scheduled shifts, maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally. You must be able to bend, stoop, extend reach, climb ladders, and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate a POS system.
