Lead Electrical Engineer for Global Projects

Scotland, Glasgow and England, London are popular locations for this key role. We offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing complex electrical infrastructure projects worldwide. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining high-voltage electrical systems. You will lead a team of engineers to deliver projects within budget and timeframe.

This role involves:

  • Leading global design teams to produce technical drawings, reports, and studies.
  • Reviewing and managing the overall design activity to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve project efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Chartered Engineer (or working towards).
  • Proven track record leading a team of engineers.
  • Solid understanding of UK Grid Code and relevant regulations.
