Are you a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills? We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator Specialist to join our team at Carrington West.
About the RoleIn this challenging role, you will work under the direction of the Estimating Manager to compile competitive tender proposals and liaise with clients. Your primary goal will be to secure profitable work for our business by identifying effective opportunities on projects where we can offer multiple ground engineering solutions to clients.
Main Responsibilities- Prepare competitive and accurate tender designs for sheet piled walls, king post walls, and other ancillary disciplines.
- Identify the most suitable, safe, and cost-effective operational solutions for tenders, taking into account any risks identified that are associated with any tender opportunity.
- Communicate effectively with clients at all stages of the tender process to enhance customer relations and assist them with their requirements.
We are looking for a motivated and organized individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a ground investigation/ground engineering/geotechnical setting. If you have a full UK clean driving license and are willing to travel across the UK to attend meetings and site visits, we would love to hear from you.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a comprehensive pension scheme, life assurance, and a generous annual leave allowance.
