Maintenance Team Leader Opportunity

M-Tec Engineering Solutions is a leading supplier of recruitment solutions to the Automotive and General Engineering sectors.

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at our facility in Shropshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of maintenance engineers to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex maintenance issues
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including robot and PLC technology
  • Recognized engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience
