Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer - Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Faerch. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our Extrusion / Thermoforming machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Extrusion / Thermoforming machines to minimize downtime and ensure maximum productivity.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with machines and equipment, using your expertise in electrical systems and control panels.
  • Engineering Support: Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement planned maintenance programs, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and upgraded.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory levels of spare parts and materials to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
  • Project Work: Participate in special projects as required, using your technical expertise to drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a formal qualification in electrical engineering or a related field, such as an apprenticeship or City & Guilds certification.
  • Technical Skills: Possess advanced knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and PLCs, with the ability to interpret electrical schematic diagrams.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, departmental teams, and management.
  • IT and Physical Abilities: Possess relevant IT skills and good physical fitness, with the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
