Commercial Debt Collector

Antony James Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their Finance & Controlling team. Located in Dublin, this full-time, 40-hour-per-week role offers a competitive salary of €48,000 - €58,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This exciting opportunity involves managing high volumes of customer accounts, conducting daily collection calls, and maintaining detailed documentation. The ideal candidate will have excellent telephone communication skills, a background in Credit Control, and the ability to build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Managing high volumes of customer accounts.
• Conducting daily collection calls to follow up on unpaid accounts and outstanding balances.
• Recording daily collections activities and maintaining detailed documentation.
• Assessing account risk and managing credit limits accordingly.
• Reviewing and assessing new customer accounts, setting appropriate credit terms and limits.
• Utilizing external credit risk management tools to evaluate the creditworthiness of customers.
• Investigating and resolving billing disputes or discrepancies.
• Performing reconciliations of accounts and payments.
• Identifying potential bad debts or financial risks.
• Collaborating with local Operations teams and shared service centers to resolve customer queries.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a Credit Control role, with a strong operational focus.
