We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dental Receptionist to join our team at Bupa Dental Care. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the reception area, ensuring a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage and coordinate the scheduling of appointments, including booking and amending appointments as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the practice manager and clinical team, including handling patient records and confidential information.
  • Develop and implement effective systems and processes to improve patient flow and reduce waiting times.
  • Collaborate with the practice manager and clinical team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and practice efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and patient confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a dental reception or administration role, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
