We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Manager to join our team at Leaders in Care. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilize your expertise in providing face-to-face support to children and their families, while creating personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.

Criteria for a Pediatric Nurse Manager:
  • Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN) with a minimum of 6 months of experience in the UK and an active NMC PIN.
  • A supportive management style that fosters growth and development in others.
  • Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Suitable for Band 5/Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of Healthcare Assistants (HCAs).
  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver tailored care plans that address the individual needs of each client.
  • Effectively manage the multidisciplinary team through strong communication and collaboration.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring, support, and assessment of clients' physical and physiological needs within your caseload.
  • Deliver nursing interventions, including the management of medication delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients' families.
  • Work closely with community teams, CHC Nurses, and CCG Commissioners to establish and maintain bespoke packages of care.
