Structural Reinforcement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Structural Reinforcement Specialist to join our team at Work Matters Ltd. As a Steel Fixer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the structural integrity of our bespoke precast concrete products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to determine steel reinforcement requirements.
- Cut, bend, and fix steel bars, mesh, and steel frameworks into position inside formwork for precast concrete.
- Secure reinforcement bars and mesh with correct spacing and alignment to ensure structural integrity.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Maintain steel fixing equipment and tools to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Steel Fixer, preferably within the precast concrete industry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and reinforcement schedules.
- Excellent knowledge of steel reinforcement techniques and materials.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools relevant to steel fixing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Overtime after 45 hours.
- Attendance Bonus.
