Job Description: Specialist Child Mental Health Professional

As a Specialist Child Mental Health Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to children, young people, and their families. This role offers the opportunity to work in a community-based setting, providing flexible and evidence-based interventions. You will be part of a dynamic and successful CAMHS service, comprising of various teams that work together to provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents.

About Our Service:

We pride ourselves on our innovative and evidence-based approaches to mental health care, working closely with schools, community services, and other professionals to provide holistic support to children and adolescents. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to service development projects, participate in clinical supervision, and engage in line management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist psychological assessment and treatment services to children, young people, and their families.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Participating in clinical supervision and appraisal processes.

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
