Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide support to an individual with autism.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong relationship with our client, supporting them to access leisure activities and social attractions, and assisting with daily living tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a strong and trusting relationship with our client
  • Support our client to access leisure activities and social attractions
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Encourage and support our client to make informed decisions about their life
  • Work collaboratively with our client's network of support to ensure a seamless and effective support package
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • 12 hours per week, 6 hours weekday and 6 hours weekend, with flexible scheduling
  • Competitive hourly rate of £11.70ph weekday and £12.70ph weekends
