Role Overview

As a Support Worker at Simply Education, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with learning disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

About the Role

This full-time position is based at our specialist college and training hotel in Minehead, Somerset. You will work closely with our experienced team to provide support and guidance to students, helping them to achieve their goals and develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individualized support to students with learning disabilities
- Assist students with daily tasks and activities, such as personal care and meal preparation
- Develop and implement personalized plans to support student progress and development

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A strong understanding of learning disabilities and the needs of young people with complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Benefits

- Competitive salary: £22,554.34 - £24,593.46 per annum (FTE £24,378.00 - £26,582.00)
- 40 hours per week, term-time plus additional days and training (42 weeks per year)
- Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
