Job Summary

This role involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining domestic heating systems, adhering to gas safe regulations and completing relevant paperwork. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and safety while working in a diverse range of environments.

The ideal candidate will have formal training, ACS qualifications, and understanding of gas legislation. They will also possess excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage their time effectively.

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £42,000 per annum, plus overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities
  1. Servicing, repairing, and maintaining domestic heating systems
  2. Ensuring work is completed according to specification and gas safe regulations
  3. Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation
  4. Maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring their safety
  5. Participating in out-of-hours works, including overtime and call-outs
  6. Working in accordance with operational procedures, safe working practices, and H&S policies
Requirements
  • Formal training in a recognized craft qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
  • ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
  • LPG, UNVENTED Oil, solar, and renewable/ASHP qualifications are desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of gas legislation and Health and Safety best practices
  • Full driving license and ability to manage own time and workload
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience of working with the public
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
