About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Artworker to join our team at Team ITG. As a key member of our packaging design team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality artwork for our packaging products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop commercial designs for packaging products, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and design briefs.
  • Collaborate with the Packaging Design Manager to develop packaging concepts and artwork aligned with the brand.
  • Manage product availability efficiently and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of personal development and workload management.
  • Stay updated with relevant industry practices and technical requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous packaging design role with at least 3 years experience (retail / fashion preferable)
  • Packaging Design/Graphic Design related degree or equivalent
  • Well-rounded packaging design experience across multiple areas (ideally in a fashion or homeware environment)
  • Excellent knowledge of both constructional and graphical design
  • Creative thinking
  • Excellent knowledge of end-to-end design to print processes
  • Working knowledge of design briefs
  • Brand guidelines experience
  • High level of technical proficiency in Mac OS and Adobe CC software – with a focus on Illustrator
  • Excellent understanding of colour theory
  • Excellent working knowledge of packaging materials including papers/cards and fabrics
  • Excellent understanding of typography
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team skills
