We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Building Surveyor to join our team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our commercial property team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of commercial property.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of building regulations and legislation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also possess strong project management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough building surveys and inspections on commercial properties
  • Preparing detailed reports and providing recommendations for maintenance, repair, and refurbishment works
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of commercial property
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and within budget
  • Assisting with project management and contract administration
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Building Surveying or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with APC qualification
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong project management skills
