Job Title: Instrumentation Calibration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Calibration Technician to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our clients' equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calibrate gauges and equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality
  • Conduct inspections and testing to identify any issues or defects
  • Document and report calibration results and any necessary repairs or maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed, both internally and externally
  • Coordinate external calibration services and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Maintain inventory and calibration management systems
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a foundry or CNC machining environment
  • Ability to calibrate equipment to meet regulatory and industry standards
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ASME, and ASTM standards
