Transport Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to join our team as a Transport Administrator. As a key member of our transport department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process orders generated from our Transport Management System (TMS)
  • Liaise with other departments, including drivers, to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding deliveries and collections
  • Update various in-house systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Maintain regular contact with subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient service
  • Process delivery paperwork and update customers on estimated time of arrivals (ETAs)
  • Provide administrative support to staff at Director level as required

Requirements

  • Recent experience working in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
