About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Consultant to join our Toyota team in Inverness. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for discovering customer needs and matching those with the right product. You will be highly skilled at building trust and rapport with customers, and will be able to adapt to their approach and buying strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Listen and talk to customers to uncover their needs and build trust and rapport
  • Be curious to learn and become 'fluent' in Toyota's products and services
  • Match customer to product and maximise opportunities through features and add-ons
  • Guide customers, advise them and adapt to their approach and buying strategy
  • Encourage customers to experience the product through a test drive
  • Ensure customer issues are resolved along the customer journey
  • Maximise opportunities for sales leads via multiple channels
  • Willingly learn and show an openness to change, new processes and new ideas
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business, providing a seamless service
  • Represent the Toyota brand and values, proudly serving as an ambassador

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively and take on infrequent travel for work and training purposes
  • High standards of verbal and written communication
  • Good level of general education - at least National 5s in English and Maths and ideally Highers (or equivalent)
  • Good IT skills, (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and social media skills
  • Previous work experience within an automotive sales environment
  • Interests that support your work life balance
