MC Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team as a Renewable Energy Specialist. The ideal candidate will have industrial electrical experience, interest in learning new skills, and willingness to work in a field service capacity. Based in Gloucestershire, South Wales, Buckinghamshire, or the South Midlands, this role offers excellent opportunities for career growth and training in the renewable energy sector.

About the Role
  • Carry out servicing, fault finding, and reactive maintenance on all Electrical Power Generation Assets.
  • Travel to assets across Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire/South Wales/Buckinghamshire/South Midlands.
  • Safely isolate assets to ensure operations and mechanical teams can safely interact with equipment.
  • Monitor the work of external contractors on sites' electrical assets.
  • Support Electrical Engineers and Maintenance Managers with upgrades and project work completion.

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  • A relevant Electrical Engineering qualification at Level 3/ONC/HNC/HND or above.
  • Working knowledge of all relevant H&S legislation.
  • A positive attitude towards learning and training.
  • Willingsness to travel to sites across Gloucestershire, South Wales/Buckinghamshire, and South Midlands.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary up to £42,000, company van, and up to 15% bonus. This opportunity allows individuals to gain high voltage qualifications and experience when progressing through the company.
