Senior Research Scientist - Process Development

As a Senior Research Scientist - Process Development, you'll play a key role in driving our research and development efforts forward. Working closely with our upstream Principal Scientists and Technical Directors, you'll develop and validate new processes and control paradigms in ambr250 workflows, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate new processes and control paradigms in ambr250 workflows
  • Develop small scale models, and scale down models using high throughput systems, such as the ambr250
  • Assess new technologies for high throughput models
  • Collaborate with upstream Principal Scientists or Technical Directors to support complex experimental studies
  • Review experimental results and respective scientific documentation
  • Ensure lab procedures are adhered to and support safety assessments
  • Plan and coordinate resources across various R&D upstream projects

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of BSc in Biotechnology / Biochemistry or other related fields (MSc desirable)
  • Practical experience within R&D in an industrial/academic setting
  • Experience and a good understanding of ambr250 (essential) and ambr15 (desirable)
  • Ability to demonstrate innovative skills and experience leading complex technology projects
  • Team leadership or mentoring experience with a proactive attitude to working and solving challenging problems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Lead Research Scientist - Cell Process Development

We're looking for a Lead Research Scientist to join our Research and Development Team, working closely with upstream Principal Scientists and Technical Directors to deliver technical solutions for the next generation cell processes.
