Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join our team at Global Accounting Network. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing the accounting functions of our largest entity.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and reconcile balance sheets to ensure accuracy and completeness
  2. Analyze P&L variances and provide insightful commentary to business stakeholders
  3. Oversee intercompany reconciliations and ensure timely completion
  4. Collaborate with external auditors to prepare statutory accounts and annual audit
  5. Support budgeting process and financial planning
  6. Prepare and submit VAT returns
  7. Mentor and manage a team of 3 part-qualified accountants
  8. Provide exceptional client service, including handling client queries and withdrawals/deposits
  9. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation projects
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in Financial Services
  • Proven track record in managing accounting teams and mentoring juniors
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to reconcile complex financial statements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
