Job Description
**Classroom Support Role at Venesky-Brown**
We are seeking a skilled Classroom Support worker to join our team at Venesky-Brown, a public sector organisation in Motherwell. This is a part-time contract until June 2025, with a rate of £14.70/hour PAYE.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide classroom support for learners to enable access to the curriculum.
* Assist with assessment and exam arrangement support as required.
* Monitor learner support needs and organise technical/classroom support to meet service requirements.
* Liaise with teaching staff to facilitate student learning.
* Support learners in using equipment and assistive software.
* Contribute to maintaining statistics for monitoring, review, and evaluation of the service.
* Encourage learners to be independent and effective within the College and community.
**Requirements:**
* Previous experience working with people with disabilities or other support needs.
* Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
* Experience of note taking.
